INFINITY GROUP OFFERS SPRING DINING DEALS AT MEKONG AND THE MEXICAN CORNER IN WHISTLER

WHISTLER, BC April 16, 2024 - Spring, Whistler's season for savings, is here, and guests and locals will be excited to learn that Mekong's wildly popular prix-fixe menu is back starting April 15, 2024. Infinity Group will also offer a prix-fixe menu at The Mexican Corner beginning May 1, Sunday to Thursday.

Culinary Director Chef Angus An developed Mekong's fine Thai menu for the spring offer; it will cost $38 per person and be available seven days a week. Diners should note that a refreshed menu for the spring deal will launch on May 16, so they can try as many dishes as possible before the new summer a la carte menu launches. In addition to the prix-fixe items, a selection of popular a la carte dishes to share will be available for dine-in. Mekong's takeout-only menu will also remain available for a satisfying meal at home after a day of spring adventure.

Guests can indulge in vibrant hot and cold dishes, luscious curries and delectable main dishes over three courses. The first course includes crispy Sii Khrong Pork Ribs, sticky bites glazed with palm sugar caramel, tamarind and lime, and Mekong's signature Papaya Salad, with the option to add on soft shell crab. Also new for this spring, guests can indulge in dishes like Pad Cha Seafood and Chicken Cashew. See Mekong's spring prix-fixe menu here.

"Spring in Whistler is one of my favourite times of the year," says An, who is also an avid snowboarder and cyclist. "The transition from winter to spring always brings an exciting feeling for what's to come. We're looking forward to reflecting that in our new menu, especially with the arrival of even more fresh ingredients and seafood from our beautiful West Coast. In addition, we're thrilled to be able to offer a special prix-fixe menu for our community to enjoy."

The Mexican Corner will also present its own three-course prix-fixe for $29 on May 1, Sunday through Thursday. The culinary teams at Mekong and The Mexican Corner have taken special care to create delicious vegetarian and vegan options for each spring dining deal.
